Job Description Site Construction Manager Major EPC Power & Industrial Projects Kanadevia Inova is recruiting an experienced Site Construction Manager for a high-profile leadership role on major EPC power and industrial plant projects. The position will initially be based in the UK, with the opportunity to evolve into a global role as the business continues to grow internationally. We are specifically interested in hearing from Site Construction Managers with M&E or Process particularly, who have worked on the construction of EPC projects, values at between £100 - £500M, Energy from Waste (EfW) or Power plants. This senior site leadership role is responsible for safety, programme, quality and contractor performance across all mechanical, electrical and civil construction activities. You will act as the key interface between contractors, suppliers and project management to ensure safe, compliant and on-time delivery of complex facilities. Key Responsibilities Lead and enforce Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) across all site activities Manage day-to-day mechanical, electrical and civil construction works Coordinate and supervise contractors, suppliers and site engineers Control programme, progress reporting, inspections and handover activities Deputise for the Site Manager and act as senior site representative when required This list is not exhaustive and duties may change in line with project and business needs. Project Delivery & Control Maintain the construction schedule, identify delays and implement recovery plans Review contractor programmes, reports and site documentation Lead weekly contractor meetings and track actions, changes and risks Manage site records, progress reporting and completion programmes Coordinate inspections, M&E completion and handover testing Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure full compliance with HSEQ legislation, project rules and safe systems of work Review and approve RAMS and ensure works are executed safely Stop work where safety or compliance is at risk Lead and support audits, inspections and safety reviews Promote a strong safety leadership culture across all site teams Qualifications Required Experience & Qualifications 8+ years’ experience in large-scale industrial or power plant construction Site Construction Managers with M&E or Process particularly, who have worked on the construction of EPC projects, values at between £100 - £500M, Energy from Waste (EfW) or Power plants. Engineering degree or equivalent SMSTS (or equivalent) and valid CSCS / SCC / CCNSG certification Project Management qualification (APM or equivalent preferred) Technical & Professional Skills Strong knowledge of EPC construction, contracts and site coordination Experience using Primavera, MS Project, SAP, SharePoint or PIRS Excellent planning, reporting and documentation capability Ability to manage multiple contractors and disciplines Strong problem-solving and site troubleshooting experience Leadership & Personal Attributes Proven leader with excellent communication and motivation skills Strong negotiator when dealing with subcontractors and suppliers Structured, organised and solution-focused Able to manage change and complexity Fluent English required; German or other languages an advantage Additional Information Why Join Kanadevia Inova?
