Description

Accountable Recruitment are partnering with an industry leading, global manufacturing company based in Wrexham, to recruit a Head of Finance. Reporting to the Business Controller you will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, leading a small team and business partnering across the group.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • US GAAP and working experience in SOX
  • Minimum 10 years in controlling and accounting experience, including as a UK Qualified Accountant with experience in hands on Management Accounts.
  • Muli-entity experience within a global business.
  • Very organized and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a business partner to manage a global business
  • Lead annual budget process and monthly forecasts for P&L and balance sheet, including working capital.
  • Manage the monthly consolidation and related reporting requirements, including UK statutory requirements.
  • Ensure conformity with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and all Corporate policies.
  • Work closely with the corporate UK office on tax related topics.
  • Provide support and leadership of all internal and external audits.
  • Lead process improvements in month-end processes, FP&A and compliance.
  • Drive the organization to achieve short- and long-term business objectives.
