SITE COOK

Provide food services preparation and delivery at sites serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years; includes food preparation, cleaning, tracking, monitoring and reporting; ensuring food service delivery adheres to USDA CACFP, Health Department, HACCP, OCFS, Head Start Performance Standards and Department regulations, guidelines and procedures. Incorporate the food services needs of individual children, as defined in Nutrition Health Plans. Support program nutrition and educational goal plans; such as incorporating LANA curriculum into food service delivery. Work as a member of a kitchen team to provide quality service delivery at program sites throughout Tompkins County.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years’ work experience in food preparation and/or food services industry
• Food Service work experience in preschool program preferred
