Description Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Site Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing quality education, enrichment, and recreational programs. The Site Coordinator also supervises Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) and ensures productive and effective performance in their roles. In addition to administrative duties, the Site Coordinator is tasked with ensuring that program requirements and standards are met. Requirements · Plan, schedule, and ensure implementation of quality programs and activities in core program areas that meet required guidelines. · Oversee and ensure the implementation of quality educational, arts & crafts, athletic, enrichment, and recreational activities for youth in small and large groups. · Supervise, train, and evaluate all Youth Development Professionals (YDPs), ensuring productive and effective performance. · Promote and stimulate program participation. · Provide guidance and role modeling to members. · Provide supervision and guidance in all program areas. · Create and maintain inventory and ensure proper storage and maintenance of all program equipment. · Ensure all program areas are organized and clean. · Foster a positive environment where children can learn, interact, and grow. · Maintain close contact with Program Director, school personnel, parents, and after-school service providers to discuss issues, concerns, and to strengthen relationships. · Establish and maintain program settings that ensure the health and safety of members. · Cover the responsibilities of Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) in their absence. · Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions. · Assist in recruiting, training, and monitoring staff and volunteers. · Maintain and submit accurate program schedules, attendance, records, and reports. · Maintain order and discipline among members by managing their behavior and reinforcing club rules.
