Responsibilities

Gyptech is seeking a Site Coordinator to join our team on site. Your role will involve supporting the Site Managers with:

  • Providing technical support to installation contractors, both mechanical and electrical
  • Liaison between Gyptech engineers (Canada, Germany and Sweden) and installation contractors to ensure timely, accurate installation and wiring of equipment
  • Equipment shipment and logistics monitoring
  • Coordinating with Project Coordinators on RFI status, distribution, and directives
  • Quantity surveying, progress tracking and invoice quantity verifications
  • Ensuring contractors are conducting works in a safe and productive manner
  • Initiating, Filling and Closing of site safety documentation
  • Participating in Machine Dry Commissioning including mechanical check sheets, alignment, machine set up, electrical/controls I/O checks, rotational checks, and dry board testing
  • Participating in machine wet commissioning including product trials and troubleshooting
  • Participating in plant start-ups. Provide leadership to the Commissioning team when necessary
  • Providing gypsum process knowledge to assist the customer and start-up team
  • Updating and maintaining site documentation as needed in the performance of the above duties

This is a remote position with a requirement to travel internationally on a consistent basis
