Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To ensure the smooth running of our Worksop Mill, this role provides administration support to the milling, packing and warehouse functions. As part of the operations team, you’ll be the go-to person for providing day-to-day support and coordination, ensuring compliance with company standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels in multitasking, and has a keen eye for detail. This role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To produce packing plans to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time.
  • To manage stock transfers to and from site including off site warehouses and other WBL sites.
  • Work with customer services for order planning and stock availability.
  • To complete daily administration tasks for production.
  • Issue stock sheets and complete weekly stock takes.
  • Produce daily KPI’s for site production.
  • Complete clock cards and time sheets.
    · Track and update the status of ongoing tasks or projects.
    · Ensure that operations align with organisational policies and standards.
    · Identify and suggest improvements to existing workflows or processes.
    · To provide holiday/sickness cover for the warehouse manager.
    · Serve as a point of contact for personnel, visitors, vendors and contractors, addressing queries and ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.

· To work with the wider site team to reduce the number of accidents and near misses which occur.

  • Maximising the efficiency of the packing department.

· Participate in any relevant training attributed to this role.
· Other reasonable duties attributed to this role.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Admin role, ideally within food manufacturing.

  • Experience with D365 desirable but not essential.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good communication skills (Written and verbal).
  • Results orientated.
  • Organised and systematic.
  • Able to work to own initiative.
  • Attention to detail
