Responsibilities

This role will see you:

  • Overall management of Radar sites to ensure the execution of remote site maintenance, Radar upgrades, project deliverables, and operations across all remote sites with day-to-day operational demands, ensuring that the delivery of all Remote Site Services are compliant with BAE Systems Australia Quality, Safety, Environmental and Technical requirements
  • Oversee a Team of approximately 70 staff through 5 direct reports
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of site operations to the Operations Manager, including KPIs, project performance reporting (MPU), and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish and maintain a high performing safety culture across the Remote Sites
  • Supporting the Operations Manager to ensure effective delivery and maintenance to the JORN capability
  • Acting as the primary interface for site operations, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to communicate operational status as requested, progress on projects or integrations, and ensuring stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded
  • The role will closely interface with the Facilities Contract Manager to ensure Facilities Maintenance through the IFM contractor is carried out to the required schedule, minimising impacts to site operations and staf
