We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive Development to Cost (DtC) initiatives across live projects, delivering measurable cost savings and operational efficiency. This role involves building and leading a dedicated DtC team, developing and deploying a comprehensive strategy, and ensuring alignment with central functions and stakeholders across Alstom sites.

  • Lead the implementation of DtC (Development to Cost) initiatives in active projects to achieve cost optimization.
  • Deliver tangible cost savings and contribute to the company’s financial performance.
  • Establish and manage a Site DtC team (6–12 members), fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Develop and execute a strategic DtC deployment plan across all projects.
  • Identify and promote best practices in collaboration with Central Métier, ensuring consistent application across Alstom locations.
  • Maintain effective communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Create and maintain a robust DtC (Development to Cost) roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Build and oversee the local DtC organization, ensuring team effectiveness and engagement.
  • Implement standardized DtC processes at the site level.
  • Actively engage with the global DtC network to share insights and align on methodologies.
  • Monitor team performance and progress against DtC objectives.
  • Define and execute plans to meet targeted cost savings.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Alexandre Gilbert and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
