The Opportunity We're looking for a Site Director to lead our new Columbia, SC operation from the ground up. This is not a caretaker role — it's a builder role. You'll be the most senior leader on-site, responsible for everything from pre-opening planning and staffing to long-term operational performance and culture. Requirements What You'll Do Lead the Site Launch Serve as the primary on-site executive, representing DCMS's values, culture, and strategic direction from day one Own all phases of the launch: pre-opening planning, staffing, facility setup, technology deployment, and go-live Partner closely with corporate leadership, HR, IT, and facilities teams to get the site fully operational Travel more frequently to corporate HQ during the launch phase for planning, vendor coordination, and alignment — with travel normalizing as the site stabilizes Run the Facility Oversee day-to-day management of the physical site, including equipment, utilities, and vendor relationships Manage facility budgets and ensure cost-effective stewardship of the space Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and building codes Develop and maintain business continuity and emergency preparedness plans Drive Operational Performance Manage to company profitability targets, including Account Collection Rates and revenue per FTE Leverage data for internal and client-facing performance forecasting Anticipate changing client needs and adapt operations to stay ahead Build and Lead the Team Recruit, build, and develop cross-functional teams capable of tackling complex challenges Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and recognition Establish site-specific policies and workflows aligned with company standards Ensure Compliance Ensure adherence to all federal and state collection laws Act as a role model for client excellence and ethical conduct Maintain information security standards per company policy What We're Looking For 3+ years of collections management or operations leadership experience Prior experience launching or opening a new office/site strongly preferred Experience managing facility operations or working with facilities vendors is a plus Familiarity with Finivi FACS or comparable collections software Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, reporting, and spreadsheet tools A self-directed leader comfortable being the senior person in the room — and the building Education High School Diploma / GED required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management preferred Licensing & Certifications Upon hire, candidates must be eligible to obtain all state-mandated licensing and certifications, including: Collection agency manager and compliance licenses (e.g., Michigan, Nevada) Registration with the Minnesota Department of Commerce
