DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Manager, Health, Safety, Radiation and Environment on the Rook I Site, the Emergency Response (ER) Lead will play a fundamental role in leading the Emergency Preparedness and Response Program. The ER Lead is a collaborative role that requires strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of personnel on the Rook I Site and that the site is in a continuous state of readiness able to effectively respond and mitigate potential losses from unplanned crisis and emergency events. It is a unique opportunity to join a team that is focused on the advancement of the Rook I Project (Project) – a Tier-1 uranium project – as it transitions to the next stage of development.
Location
This position will be based at the Rook I site located 150km North of La Loche Saskatchewan. The position rotation will follow a 2 week in/2 week out schedule. Circumstances may require work based out of the Saskatoon office periodically.
