QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in aluminum and glass façade works, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong technical knowledge of curtain wall systems, structural glazing, cladding, doors, and windows.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with international and local codes/standards related to façade and glazing works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Aluminum & Glass Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the execution of aluminum, glazing, curtain wall, doors, windows, and façade works on site. The role requires close monitoring of installation activities, quality control, safety compliance, and coordination between subcontractors, consultants, and the main contractor to achieve timely and successful project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and understand approved drawings, specifications, and method statements for aluminum and glass works.
• Supervise site activities, ensuring work is carried out according to approved shop drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with design/technical teams for resolving discrepancies between site conditions and drawings.
• Monitor fabrication, delivery, and installation schedules to align with project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with architectural and engineering requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and highlight potential delays or issues.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for technical clarifications and approvals.
• Assist in material take-offs, resource planning, and cost control for site-related activities.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handing-over processes of completed works.
