Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

As a Site Engineer you will provide support to our Project Manager and Project Engineer on various projects across our Auckland Civil Construction pipeline of work.

• Be responsible for monitoring all construction-related works, ensuring that quality, health & safety and environmental aspects are completed to requirements and standards.
• Be involved in financial aspects, monitoring productivity targets, managing subcontractors from procurement to delivery, and reporting on financial indicators and forecasts.
• Interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including Client representatives, public and businesses impacted by the project delivery, subcontractors, and suppliers.

This is a Full Time, Permanent opportunity based from the Downer Penrose depot.

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

• A recognised tertiary qualification in the field of Engineering or equivalent field experience
• Experience delivering either Local Authority, Major Projects, or Private Sector Civil Construction projects
• Experience working on Roading, Rail, Civil, Streetscape and/or Structures projects
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• A strong work ethic with proven resilience

• A good health & safety related track recordBe keen to learn and develop your career
