JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a talented and accomplished site engineer – civil (screed work) to join our growing business. As a site engineer - civil, you will manage projects, supervise staff, and provide technical advice as a subject matter expert.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering

• Conduct on site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other.)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
• Managing parts of construction projects
• Undertaking surveys
• Setting out sites and organizing facilities
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
