REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer in groundworks and RC frame projects.
  • Strong knowledge of setting out equipment (e.g., Leica/Trimble).
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in setting out, quality assurance, and ensuring works are delivered in line with design and specification. You will work closely with the site management team to support the successful delivery of complex groundworks and RC frame packages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setting out and surveying for groundworks, drainage, and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Interpreting drawings, technical specifications, and construction information.
  • Providing technical support to the site team and subcontractors.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including QA checks, as-built drawings, and daily logs.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinating with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure programme targets are met.
