SITE ENGINEER – CASTLEBAR HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Start Date: Immediate
Position: Full-time, Site-Based
Experience Level: Suitable for intermediate or recently qualified engineers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 1+ years’ experience on-site preferred (including internships or placement year)
• Proficient with setting out equipment (e.g. Total Station, GPS)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to learn and grow with the project

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Flanagans – Future View Developments Ltd. are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team on a residential housing project in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a high-quality housing development from the ground up, gaining valuable site experience as part of a supportive, well-established team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Project Manager and Site Foreman with day-to-day operations
• Set out works and manage site measurements
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with specifications and drawings
• Maintain site records and assist with health and safety compliance
• Report progress and issues promptly
