Position: Site Engineer Department: Projects / Operations Reporting To: Site Manager / Project Manager Role Purpose: The Site Engineer shall be responsible for supervising and executing slope stabilization and hill slope protection works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of project activities at site. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications. • Monitor and execute slope stabilization works, soil nailing, rock anchoring, gabion structures, and retaining works. • Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, surveyors, and project teams for smooth project execution. • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and project requirements. • Verify measurements, quantities, and material consumption at site. • Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and work logs. • Monitor manpower, equipment utilization, and material availability. • Assist in planning and scheduling site activities. • Conduct site inspections and report technical issues to the Site Manager. • Support preparation of client reports, billing measurements, and project documentation. • Ensure proper implementation of safety and environmental requirements. Educational Qualification: • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of total professional experience in civil construction projects. • Experience in slope stabilization and hill slope protection works. • Hands-on experience in: Soil Nailing Rock Anchoring Gabion Structures Retaining Structures Slope Protection Works • Experience in site supervision, quantity verification, and project execution. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Desired Skills: • Knowledge of construction methodologies and site execution practices. • Basic understanding of quality control and safety requirements. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Ability to prepare site reports and documentation. • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD will be an added advantage. • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
