JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are hiring an experienced and proactive Site Engineer to manage multiple construction sites, ensure quality and timely execution, and maintain effective coordination with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams. The role involves attending authority inspections, handling material selections, protecting the company’s interests in all communications, and providing accurate reporting on project progress.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (MUST-HAVE):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of site inspection and supervision experience, with at least 5 years in Dubai
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
  • Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
  • Valid UAE Driving License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (ADDED VALUE):

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience in tender management and preparation (eligible for higher salary)
  • Knowledge of DM/DDA permit processes
  • Experience preparing and resolving non-conformance reports (NCRs)
Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight & Execution
  • Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and timelines
  • Conduct frequent site visits according to an approved coverage plan to manage all assigned sites efficiently
  • Resolve on-site technical issues promptly and approve shop drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and enforce site safety protocols to achieve zero accidents
  • Coordination & Stakeholder Management
  • Represent the company professionally in meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities
  • Protect the company’s interests and uphold its reputation during negotiations and site discussions
  • Maintain knowledge of subcontractors’ capabilities and performance for better resource allocation
  • Material & Cost Management
  • Possess strong knowledge of material types, specifications, and price ranges
  • Track material deliveries, assist in procurement planning, and monitor project variations to control costs
  • Follow up on site-related payments to ensure smooth financial flow
  • Planning & Reporting
  • Maintain an updated project timeline and manage resources to meet deadlines
  • Prepare periodic, clear progress reports for clients and internal management
  • Document and organize all project-related emails, approvals, and communications for efficient reference
  • Authority Coordination
  • Attend Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Development Authority (DDA), or other authority inspections as required
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and project-specific permit conditions
