Surveying and Setting Out: Perform site surveys, establish reference points, and create benchmarks to guarantee construction precision.
Quality Control: Ensure adherence to quality standards through inspections, tests, and evaluations, swiftly addressing any discrepancies.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless coordination.
Problem Solving: Detect and resolve engineering challenges on-site, offering solutions as necessary.
Documentation: Keep precise project records, including site diaries, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a robust safety culture on-site.
Materials Management: Manage the delivery, storage, and effective utilization of construction materials.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Engineer within the construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations.
- Skilled in surveying and setting out with total stations and other surveying tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools, including AutoCAD and project management applications.
