JOB DESCRIPTION

Kealy Construction require a Site Engineer for the South Dublin Area.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the running of site with regards to setting out.
  • Review information from drawings, specifications, etc. to foremen, operatives, subcontractors, so that they clearly understand what is required.
  • Liaising with a range of professionals i.e. Designers, Engineers, Architects etc
  • Review of technical submissions prior to upload to design team to ensure that the correct areas of work are addressed
  • Providing clear leadership abilities and direction to the site team
  • Overview of concrete testing and results.
  • Ensuring all records / management activities adhere to Institutional policies & legal requirement
  • Record all daily activities, relevant information and occurrences in your site diary.
  • Health & Safety compliance
  • ISO Compliance
  • Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel
  • Communicate well at all levels

Your Skills & Experience:

  • 3rd Level qualification in an Engineering related field
  • Proven experience in setting out or working as a Site Engineer in previous roles
  • 5+ years’ experience is in Building Industry
  • Strong knowledge of BCAR & building regulations
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
  • Flexibility and capability to adapt to a changing work environment
  • Strong PC skills, particularly Autocad, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project & Outlook
