JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join the team already in place for this large design and build project involving complex construction. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented engineer to be instrumental in delivering a technically challenging project, ensuring high engineering standards, efficient project workflows, and robust logistical coordination.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in large-scale infrastructure or design-build projects. Specific expertise in earthworks, reinforced concrete, and steel frame construction is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid knowledge of structural engineering principles, geotechnical considerations, and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to overcoming engineering and technical challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with all project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet key milestones and deadlines, working closely with project management.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical supervision of all engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and high standards for earthworks, RC structures, and steel frame erection.
  • Quality Control & Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control procedures across all aspects of the project to meet design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Site Supervision & Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections, monitor construction progress, verify measurements, and ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on-site, promoting a culture of proactive risk management.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical assessments, and project forecasts.
