JOB ROLE:

Our client, Taylor Woodrow, a leading infrastructure and civil engineering specialist, is seeking a Site Engineer to support the delivery of major projects across their infrastructure portfolio.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate setting out, managing day-to-day site operations, and ensuring that works such as drainage, kerbing, paving, and surfacing are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out core site engineering tasks, including precise setting out using engineering drawings, specifications, and control points.
• Deliver key aspects of external civil works—pavement construction, road surfacing, kerb laying, and drainage installation—ensuring full compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Operate Leica TS16 Total Stations and GPS surveying equipment for accurate data capture and high-precision layout.
• Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain smooth project delivery.
• Manage the full project cycle of assigned tasks, from site setup through to final handover, upholding standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Review, interpret, and implement technical drawings, method statements, and risk assessments to support safe and effective on-site execution.
