• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications while managing on-site teams effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve design issues, ensuring that all modifications are documented and executed accurately.
• Prepare and maintain detailed daily reports on project progress, including labor, materials used, and any discrepancies encountered.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, providing a solid foundation in engineering principles and practices.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant site engineering experience, demonstrating a track record of on-site project management and execution.
• Possession of a valid engineering license or certification, such as Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE), showcasing professional credibility.
• Proven experience in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, or MS Project), enhancing planning and execution capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

Site Engineer responsible for day-to-day engineering and site supervision of civil and structural works for the OCW Project. The role will include planning and coordinating site activities, ensuring execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements, coordinating with subcontractors and site teams, monitoring progress and quality, arranging inspections/WIRs, resolving site technical issues, and maintaining relevant engineering records and documentation. The candidate shall be capable of independently managing assigned site activities and coordinating effectively with the Project Manager, Technical Office, QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure safe, timely and compliant execution of the works.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong site supervision and coordination skills. Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications. Experience in reinforcement, formwork, precast concrete fabrication & installation, concrete and foundation works. Ability to coordinate subcontractors, site teams and inspection activities. Knowledge of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, ITPs and WIR/inspection procedures. Good understanding of construction quality and HSE requirements. Ability to plan daily activities, set priorities and monitor progress against programme requirements. Good communication and reporting skills.
