Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the project director, the position holder assists the project manager in the management of a construction project by coordinating activities related to the project, including:
- Coordinating on-site work execution in collaboration with the project manager and the superintendent;
- Ensuring the link between the contractor, the client, and subcontractors regarding quality;
- Supporting the project manager in establishing site guidelines;
- Monitoring the schedule and work progress;
- Developing project realization tools, such as a general work program, cycle studies on specific activities, design of structures, or temporary tools;
- Preparing the necessary execution procedures for the project;
- Tracking technical correspondences with professionals and subcontractors;
- Ensuring the implementation of the quality plan as a whole;
- Coordinating and conducting inspections by the contractor, superintendents, subcontractors, independent laboratories, and specialists involved in verifying work compliance;
- Monitoring site supply, inventories, and preparing material orders as needed;
- Ensuring the conformity of materials used;
- Supervising deficiency surveys and following up on corrective actions;
- Proposing solutions to non-conformities raised, in collaboration with superintendents and subcontractors;
- Actively participating in site meetings;
