Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family We’re looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join us in the improvement of infrastructure based in Queenstown, NZ. Kā Huanui a Tāhuna is an alliance established in November 2020 between Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, along with four design and construction companies - Beca, WSP, Downer New Zealand and Fulton Hogan. The Alliance has already completed three projects: the Queenstown Town Centre Street Upgrades, Queenstown Town Centre Arterial: Stage 1, and Lakeview Infrastructure. The NZ Upgrade Programme: Queenstown Package commenced in April 2024. The Wakatipu Active Travel Network has been designed. The Howards Drive intersection upgrade project will see this busy Queenstown intersection upgraded to meet the needs of this rapidly growing part of the Whakatipu basin. This $15-20 million dollar upgrade includes substantial roading upgrades, complete signalisation and future-proofing roading and other assets. Construction on this project commences in late 2025 and is expected to take approximately 2 years. This exciting and challenging programme of work is improving safety and accessibility, enables an improved public transport system, provides more options for walking and cycling, and benefits the community and its visitors. The $350 million+ programme is playing a vital role in helping to stimulate the wider Whakatipu economy. Construction started in January 2021. Queenstown Package Stage 1 will complete in the first quarter of 2028. In addition to the above you will: Plan, organise and manage projects from inception to completion Ensure work is performed in accordance with industry standards and specifications including quality control documentation, ITPs to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications Collate field records and input data for accurate daily productivity Oversee the work and provide engineering expertise and technical solutions towards projects Prepare and review schedules, budgets, staffing and resource allocation plans on weekly and monthly basis Attend daily or weekly site meetings and prepare regular updates for alliance partners and clients when needed Perform audits and checks for site compliance with HSQE Liaise with project engineers and managers, alliance partners and local stakeholders Promote a positive work culture and uphold alliance values Good Work equals Good Benefits Company vehicle KiwiSaver employer contributions Fuel discount card Parental leave top-up payment with additional return to work support Family scholarships Ongoing training and development, career growth and progression opportunities Great discounts at a wide range of retailers Medical and Life insurance At Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us.
