Job Description The Site Engineer - Rolling Stock Testing & Commissioning (T&C) will be responsible for overseeing the testing, commissioning, and integration of rolling stock systems for metro projects. The role demands strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in rolling stock systems, and a focus on ensuring safety, quality, and operational readiness. Job Duties: Testing & Commissioning: Plan and execute the testing and commissioning activities for rolling stock systems. Conduct functional and performance tests to ensure compliance with design specifications and operational requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the testing and commissioning phase. System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of rolling stock with other metro systems, including signaling, power supply, and communication systems. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address interface challenges and ensure system compatibility. Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure rolling stock meets project standards and regulatory requirements. Document and address any non-conformities or deviations from specifications. Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with rolling stock manufacturers, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and commissioning. Act as the on-site liaison for rolling stock-related activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols during testing and commissioning activities. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to ensure a safe working environment. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of testing and commissioning activities, including test results, issues, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit progress reports to the project management team. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges related to rolling stock systems. Proactively address potential risks and implement solutions to minimize delays. Qualifications Graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related fields). Additional Information Minimum 6 years of total professional experience. At least 2 years of relevant experience in rolling stock testing and commissioning for metro projects.
