We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team in Structures / Heavy Civil based in Auckland. Our Civil business is a division of the Business specialising in Infrastructure Construction, based around Reinforced Concrete. We are currently delivering work ranging from Bridges and Wharves to Water Treatment Plants and Storage Tanks and Pipeline In addition to the above you will: Coordinating and overseeing daily site activities to ensure smooth progress of all works. Organising and developing construction methodologies and work programs to deliver the project on schedule and to specification. Identifying and solving engineering problems quickly and effectively. Managing procurement of materials and subcontractor services to meet project needs. Implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the project life-cycle. We’re looking for someone with: Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in heavy civil construction or major infrastructure project. Tertiary qualification in civil engineering (BE, NZCE, or Diploma). Ability to plan and develop construction methodologies and works programmes. Proven subcontractor management and resource optimisation (materials, plant, labour).
