Site Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

Be part of the team at Earthsure, Veolia and Ventia’s exciting venture to re-resource wasted soil sustainably. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, not only will you support site operations at our state-of-the-art contaminated thermal treatment and soil washing facility, you will also assist in plant improvement, engineering documentation control, procurement, quality control, and facility safety management.

• Maintain and update engineering documentation, coordinate work with site stakeholders and manage facility maintenance including roads, flora and fauna, and shared services.
• Oversee maintenance of site vehicles, mobile plant, communication systems and rental equipment; track and order site supplies.
• Manage testing, calibration and certification of site safety equipment; monitor and report on site utilities consumption and conditions.
• Liaise with operators to manage soil delivery, treatment, and disposal; monitor work progress and quality through inspections and reporting.
• Provide operational support to the production crew and assist in daily pre-starts and regular meetings.
