POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Site Engineer with a strong engineering background to oversee the installation and integration of advanced data and communication systems on rail vehicles. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of projects, with responsibilities spanning from planning and coordination to hands-on oversight during installations. The position is based in Los Angeles, CA, and candidates must either reside in the area or be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, or a related field).

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in installation and commissioning roles, for rail, automotive, or heavy equipment industries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead on-site teams and manage cross-functional project tasks.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Understanding of communication systems, IoT integration, and system commissioning practices.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation.
• Hands-on experience with system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and commissioning tools.

SOFT SKILLS

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results under pressure.

Other Requirements:

• Familiarity with project management tools and inventory control processes.
• Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
• Ability to relocate to Los Angeles, CA, if not currently based in the area.
