KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Looking for a coach, leader and hands-on man-manager
  • People person - able to develop & train team
  • Ideally a time-served engineering manager who has progressed their career
  • Role would suit a maintenance manager that wants to step up or an engineering manager that is looking to manage a smaller team
  • Desirable if worked in food manufacturing
  • Must have worked in some form of high-speed environment
  • Driven person on OEE, performance improvements, CI projects, PPM development
  • Beneficial to be an electrically biased engineer by trade
  • Budget control experience would be desirable
  • Happy to be hands-on with the team when needed
  • NEBOSH qualified would be beneficial

Responsibilities
  • Managing a team of multi-skilled shift engineers + maintenance manager
  • Responsible for site based capital projects and continuous improvements works
  • Improve overall OEE for all production lines
  • Coach, develop & lead the team through shopfloor guidance and training & development plans
  • Managing scheduled maintenance plans and make improvements
  • Inventory control, health & safety, quality management, budget control & forecasting
  • Improve site services & infrastructure contracts & suppliers
  • Ensure that the engineering KPi’s are defined, understood and aligned to the site plans
