QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation).
· Proven experience in a facilities or maintenance management role in a manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environment.
· Strong understanding of building systems, services, and statutory compliance requirements.
· Experience managing contractors, service agreements, and compliance documentation.
· Good knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., PUWER, COSHH, LOLER, HSE guidance).
· Competent in using maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic IT tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and respond to issues quickly.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and proactive electrically biased Facilities Manager to oversee and manage all building services and site infrastructure within our food manufacturing facility. Working within the Maintenance Department, the successful candidate will take primary responsibility for maintaining, improving, and ensuring compliance across building systems (heating, lighting, plumbing, and grounds maintenance) and statutory inspections.
This is a key role supporting both production uptime and site compliance, requiring a strong compliance background combined with general facilities management experience.
