JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Site Facilities Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks at two commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills in general maintenance and repair, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Facilities Operator or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficient in a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.
  • Tools: Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively and safely.
  • Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Driving License: Valid UK driving license essential.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £11.44-£13.09 per hour
    Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Responsibilities
  • General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and repairing broken fixtures.
  • Repairs: Undertake minor and major repair works, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
  • Installations: Install new equipment, furniture, and fixtures as required.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional manner, addressing their maintenance needs and concerns.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks.
