Orbit Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting an experienced Foreman for a long-term position in Chipping Norton.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience supervising groundworks or civil engineering projects (essential), including formwork and drainage.
• Relevant health & safety qualifications, such as SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (or equivalent).
• Proven track record in managing small teams on-site safely and efficiently.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan and coordinate materials, plant, labour, and site schedules effectively.
• Knowledge of site paperwork, including RAMS, permits, inductions, and inspections.

• Supervise and coordinate all groundworks activities on-site, including formwork, drainage, and foundation works.
• Lead and manage a small team of operatives, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
• Plan and organise materials, plant, and labour to meet project schedules.
• Ensure all health & safety regulations are strictly followed, including site inductions, RAMS, and safe excavation practices.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and senior management to report progress and resolve site issues.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and monitor compliance with project specifications.
• Keep accurate site records, including daily reports, permits, and inspections.
• Identify potential challenges on-site and implement proactive solutions to avoid delays.
