The Site General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, profitability, and overall success of the entire truck stop facility. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, optimizing fuel and retail sales, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The General Manager must be a hands-on leader, capable of multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Job Functions: Oversee the daily operations of fuel sales, retail, convenience store, restaurant, and other on-site services. Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing, promotions, and customer service. Hire, develop, and supervise employees, including cashiers, maintenance staff, and restaurant personnel. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding fuel, food service, and employment. Implement and enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards. Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times. Experience: 3+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management. 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+million. 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements. 3+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees. Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle check. Physical Demands: Regular talking and hearing. Active involvement requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Occasional lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.
