Job Title: Site Head of Human Resources Reporting To: APAC HR Lead, Commercial Work Schedule: Onsite – Baguio City, PH Job Title: Site Head of Human Resources Work Schedule: Onsite – Baguio Philippines The Site Head of HR is the principal human resources leader for the Baguio site and a key member of the Site Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This role is accountable for developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that drives organizational effectiveness, cultural stewardship, talent development, and risk mitigation. Acting as a strategic advisor, the Site Head of HR ensures alignment with global and regional standards while enabling the site’s operational and business objectives. Key Responsibilities A. Strategic HR Leadership & Organizational Governance HR Strategy Ownership: Design and implement the site HR strategy to enhance engagement, retention, and organizational performance. Continuously challenge the status quo to introduce innovative practices aligned with business goals. Executive Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Site Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decisions beyond HR matters and influencing overall site performance. Organizational Development & Change Management: Lead initiatives in organizational design, restructuring, and large-scale change management. Ensure effective communication, training, and adoption of new processes or technologies. Cultural Stewardship: Champion the company’s culture and values, ensuring leadership practices reflect organizational philosophy. Strategic Diagnosis: Assess complex organizational issues and provide actionable recommendations to improve effectiveness and alignment. B. Talent Management & HR Program Accountability Talent Strategy & Succession Planning: Own and lead site-wide talent management processes, including performance management, succession planning, and talent pipeline development. HR Program Governance: Ensure compliant and effective execution of strategic HR initiatives and annual cycles (e.g., engagement surveys, talent reviews). Represent the site in global HR projects and forums. HR Metrics & Analytics: Oversee site employee data and analytics, ensuring integrity and leveraging insights to inform leadership decisions. C. Functional Management & Integration HR Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing HR team across multiple disciplines: HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and HRBP-Operations. Policy Governance & Collaboration: Partner with global and regional HR teams to design and implement policies that are compliant, culturally appropriate, and practical for the site. Compensation & Benefits Strategy: Collaborate with the C&B Manager to ensure competitive total rewards programs that support retention and financial health. HR Operations & Compliance: Guarantee efficient HR processes and compliance with Philippine labor laws and internal standards. Community Outreach & CSR: Support initiatives that strengthen the company’s reputation and employee connection to the local community. Employee Relations & Engagement: Oversee complex ER issues and drive proactive engagement strategies to maintain a positive work environment. Qualifications Education: Degree in HR, Business, Communication, or related field; HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) or MBA preferred. Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multifunctional HR teams in a manufacturing or multinational matrix environment. Expertise: Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable HR plans; experience in talent management, C&B, ER, and HR operations. Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading organizational design, restructuring, and culture transformation projects. Knowledge: Deep understanding of Philippine labor laws and compliance requirements. Skills: Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to influence stakeholders in complex environments. Technical: Proficiency in HR analytics and dashboards to drive insights and recommendations.
