WHAT WE NEED:

• Education : Bachelor degree in health, safety, environmental, industrial hygiene or related discipline
• Experience: Diploma with at least 5 years of experience
• Skills : Fluent in English
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (Preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of coaching methodology
• Certified internal auditor (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001)
• Very Good PC skills;

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce health and safety policies in compliance with legislation and company standards
• Identify strategic opportunities and focus HSE resources to meet business needs.
• Manage the HSE departmental budget, ensuring costs are planned, reviewed, and controlled.
• Monitor site activity for data capture and reporting.
• Champion countermeasures and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
• Support business growth initiatives and HSE governance.
• Develop and implement educational campaigns for HSE compliance.
• Identify training needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Recommend corrective actions for HSE issues and investigate unsafe conditions.
• Support third-party management system certifications (VPP STAR, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001).
• Motivate personnel to comply with safety procedures and equipment.
• Participate in accident/incident investigations and safety audits.
• Perform risk assessments and prepare HSE documentation for tenders.
• Track health and safety metrics to identify and reduce risks
