Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Site Inspector - Mechanical to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining high-quality standards on construction sites. Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems and equipment on construction sites Verify that installations meet project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain accurate documentation of inspections Identify and report any deficiencies or non-conformances in mechanical installations Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues Perform quality control checks on mechanical components and systems Monitor progress of mechanical installations and ensure adherence to project timelines Participate in project meetings and provide updates on mechanical inspection activities Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical systems Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical site inspection or related field Certified Mechanical Inspector certification or equivalent In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Strong understanding of construction industry standards and safety regulations Excellent technical report writing skills Experience with project management software and quality control procedures Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced construction environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work in various weather conditions and travel to different project sites in Doha Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
