JOB OVERVIEW

Ecosystems Technologies are focussed on maximising off-site manufacture and utilising sustainable, home-grown materials to deliver high-quality modular buildings from our site in Invergordon. As our business continues to grow, we have new exciting opportunities for Site Installers to join our team! Taking a leading role in the on-site installation of our modular buildings from individual units, to larger commercial buildings. Whilst the majority of works take place within our manufacturing facility, there are requirements for on-site works to be undertaken once modules arriving ranging from one day to a few weeks to ensure buildings are handed over to the highest standard! With opportunities to lead on site-installations, support training of our semi-skilled team, and support with manufacturing in the factory environment when site works aren’t on-going, there is a ever-growing scope for future development and progression for the right individual(s).

EXPERIENCE

Required Skills:
- Joiner/Carpentry Qualification or Similar
- Experience with tools and equipment used during manufacture processes
- Experience within the construction/manufacturing industry
Desired Skills:
- Experience with modular buildings
- Experience with cladding installation, painting, furniture manufacture

Responsibilities

DUTIES

  • Assist with transport preparation of modular buildings ahead of site installations taking place, ensuring a robust handover with the manufacture team and understanding of drawings and locations to allow for a smooth transition between the factory and site works taking place.
  • Working to timescales set out by the operations programme, ensuring that milestones are managed and met and that proactive opportunities are looked at to drive and improve productivity on-site to ensure a timely site handover to clients in line with their requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with the business’ Air Table QA System - taking responsibility to sign off checks at appropriate stages throughout installs and sharing lesson’s learned with the team for better compliance across the board.
  • Carrying out finishing/snagging works within the buildings to completion and handover and ensuring a high quality standard is maintained throughout.
  • Duties include assisting with the landing of modular units, fixing units together, finishing works including flooring installation, skirting installations and general finishing works to completion.
  • Where site installations are not on-going then site installers will be based in the Invergordon factory assisting with works on the manufacture of modular buildings.
  • Taking personal ownership for Health & Safety matters within the factory to ensure compliance with the business H&S policies and procedures, as well as compliance with main contractor H&S expectations when working on-site.
  • Potential opportunities to lead-on projects and support training of Semi-Skilled team members, ensuring compliance to programme, quality, health & safety and procurement requirements within individual site teams.
