About Our Opportunity We are seeking a Site IT Technician to work in the Blairs, Virginia warehouse. The Site IT Technician is responsible for end user and IT Infrastructure support for the company’s manufacturing and distribution site. Responsibilities * Ensure a high level of customer service is provided for all IT Support * First point of contact for end user support * Enter and track IT support tickets * Following company standards, provide support for company servers, storage, network devices, laptops, telephony, desktops, workstations, printers and other peripherals include configuration, installation of components, patching, monitoring and troubleshooting hardware/software in a mixed OS environment * Assist with support of IT Infrastructure * Create and/or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) * Work with third party vendors to support site applications and hardware * Follow corporate asset management procedures * Assist with the identification of support trends and work with Manager to address * Support Line of Business applications * Work with manager to ensure all site IT assets are licensed and are covered by support/maintenance agreements * Ensure IT and Cybersecurity best practices are followed Qualifications * Knowledge of server and workstation Operating Systems * Advanced knowledge of office suite software * Ability to proceed through system diagnostics in a logical and orderly manner * Strong analytical skills with a methodological approach to problem solving and implementation * Strong interpersonal and team building skills with ability to professionally interact with all levels of personnel required * Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field or equivalent work experience * Experience in hardware support required * IT experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution industry preferred * One or more of the following certifications preferred A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCSE * While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently sitting, hearing, talking, using repetitive hand motions, and using close visual acuity while working on a computer, analyzing data, or reading extensively. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift 50 lbs. and have the ability to crawl under desks and work overhead and on ladders. * The employee will be working in both an office environment and a warehouse setting.
