Overview:
We are currently seeking a Site Labourer to join our team.
You will be joining an existing team of 7, alongside 2 joiners and a Multi-Skill Joiner and others . This is a heritage building, new build experience will be of little use. The majority of work includes:
- Keeping the site clean, safe and free from obstructions
- Working ahead of skilled trades to prepare spaces for packages of work
- Unloading deliveries and ensuring the team have the materials they need at the required time
- Ripping-out of rooms and removal of non-heritage fabric as directed
- Any other tasks required to support the team
Essential candidate profile:
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Own transport to and from site
- Ability to follow clear instruction
- Proactivity. An ability to look and see what needs to be done in order to keep the site operating effectively
Work hours are 0800-1600 Monday - Friday. Overtime available.
This is a physically demanding role in a large and complex building.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.60 per hour
