We are seeking a Sub Same Day (SSD) Testing Engineer to join our team in developing and implementing testing strategies for our innovative same-day delivery operations.
This role combines technical expertise with operational knowledge to ensure the seamless functionality of our SSD systems and processes.
You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying potential issues before they impact customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
This position requires someone who can think critically, move quickly, and balance technical requirements with operational realities.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for SSD operational systems Develop automated testing frameworks to ensure scalability and efficiency Identify and document software defects and operational inefficiencies
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve technical issues
• Create and maintain testing documentation and standard operating procedures
• Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Lead the testing phases during new site launches and system upgrades
• Creating and maintaining detailed project plans and timelines

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Working in operations environment.
• Testing mechanical equipment.
• Dealing with L7 and L8 leaders.
• PM experience works too.
• Heavily tech related. 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance 4+ years of experience with test automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience in risk management and escalation procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with warehouse management systems or logistics software Knowledge of Amazon’s fulfillment network operations
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools
• Strong project management skills

Contract length: 9 Months
Location: Remote (travel 2-3 weeks per month, Mon-Friday)
Pay Range: $55-$60ph
