Description Job Title: Site Maintenance Technician Department: Operations Reports To: Facility Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: Private School and Church in Nashville, TN. Position Summary The Site Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional campus environment. This hands-on position supports both day-to-day maintenance and event setup, requiring a dependable, service-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting. Key Responsibilities Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and building/site components. Execute tasks such as wall repairs, painting, pressure washing, changing light bulbs, filter changes, and unclogging toilets. Conduct routine inspections, including fire extinguishers, light tests, emergency lights, lavatories, and plumbing systems. Respond to maintenance requests from building occupants and input data into the work order system. Assist with event setups and respond to customer needs. Support grounds maintenance as required. Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, and the public. Complete daily digital timesheets and work orders using a web-based program Schedule 40 hours per week; Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (including the 30-minute unpaid break) Must be flexible to work occasional nights, weekends, and overtime for special events Requirements Qualifications and Requirements A high school diploma or a GED is required Minimum two (2) years of experience in general facility maintenance or related field Basic knowledge of maintenance trades: plumbing, electrical, and carpentry Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office) Must pass a TBI background check for work on educational campuses Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs intermittently Able to bend, twist, reach, and stand for extended periods Commitment to working in a smoke-free environment What We’re Looking For A team player with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset Friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Flexible and calm under pressure Communicates clearly and works well with others Takes pride in quality work and keeps organized Comprehensive Benefits Package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance (with HSA option) Voluntary Long and Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, and Gap Insurance Wellness programs to support work-life balance 401 (k) with 50% employer match Accrual-based paid time off (PTO) with a progressive schedule: 40 hours in the first year, 80 hours in the second year, 120 hours after five years, and 160 hours after ten years of employment.
