Description

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management (IFM) at a prestigious Life Sciences site. This is a hands-on role where you’ll coordinate day-to-day operations, oversee hard and soft services, and build strong relationships with the client and stakeholders. You’ll also ensure all regulatory requirements are met, manage budgets, drive operational excellence, and take responsibility for health & safety. A strong understanding of regulated environments (cGMP & cGDP) is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing facilities in regulated environments
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical & electrical building services, and hard & soft FM
  • Strong background in cGMP & cGDP environments
  • Excellent financial and contract management skills
  • Proven health & safety expertise
  • Great problem-solving, communication and people skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Responsibilities
  • Lead all on-site FM activities, delivering services to the highest standards
  • Full H&S responsibilities for all Apleona related activities and targets
  • Full P&L responsibility for all Apleona activities and targets
  • Full operational responsibilities for all Apleona activities and targets
  • Drive a self-delivery model and continuously look for tactical efficiencies
  • Oversee hard and soft services, ensuring equipment is operational and compliant
  • Manage contractors, tender processes and service agreements
  • Monitoring all PPM and DM (reactive works) that may impact on the business
  • Ensure adherence to all site policies while challenging the status quo through change controls
  • Maintain auditable records for all maintenance activities
  • Build, lead and develop on-site teams with a focus on succession planning
  • Provide formal reports to clients and EMEA Program teams
  • Support with ad hoc projects as needed
