YOUR MISSION As part of Mediterranean Aquafarm Aquaculture business, the Site Manager's main mission will be to manage the aquaculture site and the fish packaging unit in Morocco, coordinating the development and implementation of processes that optimize operational efficiency and guarantee effective planning and compliance with land and sea activities and with quality and food safety management system. WHAT YOU’LL DO Ensure the management of the Morocco aquaculture production site and fish packaging unit, ensuring the development and implementation of processes that optimize the operational efficiency of the business and the fulfillment of the production objectives defined; Plan and ensure compliance with land and sea activities as well as with fish packaging unit processes, in accordance with legal standards and defined internal processes; Ensure compliance with good hygiene practices and coordinate the implementation of quality and food safety systems in the fish packaging unit, ensuring the monitorization of day-to-day operation and guaranteeing the quality and food safety of the products produced, reliably and rigorously complying with the requirements of applicable legislation and supporting business decision-making; Define and guarantee the availability of operational indicators that allow an adequate monitoring of the activity; Coordinate the organization and proper maintenance of all site and fish packaging infrastructures; Ensure the relationship and monitoring of external entities; Coordinate and monitor the development of the team for which he is responsible. Ensure planning and management related to the site's aquaculture production, focusing on efficiency and optimization of production costs. Ensure the purchase and management of materials necessary for the operation. WHO YOU ARE Degree in Marine Biology, Aquaculture, Marine Sciences or similar: Solid technical knowledge in aquaculture and marine biology (preferable more than 5 years); Knowledge in quality and food safety management system is valued; Experience in similar roles; Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) and knowledge of Spanish (spoken and written); Advanced level of use of MS Office, namely Excel; Excellent personal relationship skills and team spirit; Excellent team management skills; High sense of responsibility; Good verbal and written communication skills; Organizational and structuring capacity; Problem solving ability, resilience and flexibility.
