In partnership with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), this role is at the forefront of autonomous shuttle operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and innovative mobility services for the public.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
Advanced degree or certifications in transportation management, mobility, or operations are a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in transportation, transit, or mobility services.
Proven track record managing field teams, transit operations, or autonomous vehicle programs.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting tools.
Ability to interpret and apply traffic laws, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of Beep’s autonomous shuttle services, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and support field staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing liaison with JTA and other stakeholders—building trust, driving collaboration, and ensuring alignment.
  • Manage vehicle and facility readiness, oversee maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Implement performance metrics to monitor service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism and urgency.
  • Prepare and present operational and budget reports to senior leadership.
  • Drive process improvements and cost-effective solutions in a fluid, fast-evolving environment.
