We are looking for a Site Manager to lead the operations of the Colombian Pacific Site, efficiently managing the reception, transportation, storage, production and distribution of materials, as well as develop and implement operational improvement plans, ensuring compliance with safety standards, productivity and quality including cost targets of the operation. The position reports to Supply Chain Manager Andean Region and will be based in Yotoco - Valle del Cauca, Colombia.

EDUCATION:

  • Professional in Engineering or Administrative careers, with Specialization in Logistics, Administrative or related areas.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years and track record in Supply Chain and Operations positions.
  • 5 years of experience leading teams.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Supply Chain planning, sourcing, site operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Ethics and HESQ policies on site operations; as well as, promote a Yara’s value living culture.
  • Responsible for budget control of the site and proper management of resources, aiming to optimize operations and reduce costs per ton.
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives in the frame of LEAN and Yara Operations Standards.
  • Liase with Planning department in order to meet market demand on time and at lowest logistic costs.
  • Guarantee smooth operations in ports and optimium day-to-day operations on site.
  • Guarantee maintenance and good asset care procedures.
  • Management and control of contractors and partners involved in site operations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and good storage practices.
  • Management and supervision of all areas of the plant, warehouse management (production, maintenance, inventory and quality control).
