JOB TITLE: SITE MANAGER - INDUSTRIAL ROOFING & CLADDING (CORNWALL-BASED PROJECT)

Location: Cornwall (Travel & Accommodation Provided)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (Negotiable DOE) + Company Vehicle/Car Allowance

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in a Site Manager or similar role within the industrial roofing and cladding sector
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent certification
  • CSCS certification (preferably black card)
  • Strong understanding of industrial roofing systems and cladding methods
  • Ability to manage teams effectively and work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel and stay on-site in Cornwall for the duration of the project
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a key industrial roofing and cladding project based in Cornwall. This is a 12-week temporary contract with the strong possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for managing site operations from start to finish, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will act as the main point of contact on-site, liaising between site teams, subcontractors, and the head office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day-to-day management of site operations, staff, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are strictly adhered to
  • Managing schedules, deliveries, and site logistics
  • Conducting site inspections and quality checks
  • Communicating project progress and reporting back to head office
  • Ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met
