Job Title: Site Manager – CH‑53 Contractor Maintenance Support (CMS)
Location: MCAS New River, Jacksonville, NC (On‑Site with limited flexibility)
Clearance: Active SECRET (required at time of hire)
Employment Type: Full Time – Contingent on Contract Award

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline OR 21 total years of aviation maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 12 years aviation maintenance (military or DoD contractor) with progressive responsibility.
  • Minimum 6 years in a management or supervisory role (e.g., Production / Maintenance / Division / Detachment / Site leadership).
  • Demonstrated leadership of large, diverse, multi‑shop maintenance teams (shift & workload assignment oversight).
  • Comprehensive electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aircraft systems knowledge (rotorcraft or heavy-lift platform strongly preferred).
  • In‑depth working knowledge and practical application of CNAFINST 4790.2 (NAMP) and NAVAIRINST 3710.1G.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management and technical data systems (e.g., NALCOMIS/OOMA, technical pubs repositories, digital logbooks).
  • Working knowledge of basic aviation supply processes (requisitioning, parts tracking, material status).
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office / data analysis for maintenance metrics & reporting).
  • Proven ability to interface confidently with senior Government leaders and adapt communication to technical and non‑technical audiences.

PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in hangar/flight line environments (noise, temperature variation) and traverse maintenance areas safely.
  • Lift/push/pull moderate weights associated with maintenance oversight tasks (not routine wrench‑turning but hands‑on inspections).
  • Wear required PPE; comply with FOD, HAZMAT, tool control, and safety directives.
    Contingency Notice: This position is contingent upon contract award and Government approval of proposed key personnel.

    Pay: $52.88 - $58.65 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

KEY IMPACT & PURPOSE

You will drive sortie generation and training readiness by orchestrating the daily integration of contractor maintenance personnel across multiple work centers (e.g., Power Plants, Airframes, Avionics/Electrical, Hydraulics, Flight Equipment, Ordnance, Tool Room, Support Equipment, HAZMAT, Phase, Maintenance Administration, GSE (non‑CH‑53K unique)). You ensure disciplined adherence to NAVAIRINST 3710.1G, CNAFINST 4790.2 (NAMP), technical directives, safety, and quality programs while fostering a proactive, collaborative culture with the Aircraft Maintenance Officer (AMO) and Maintenance Material Control Officer (MMCO).
