Job Title: School Site Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 16:00pm
Contract: Temporary, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Havering

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or construction setting.
  • Strong maintenance and practical skills across a range of trades.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Reliability and the ability to work independently.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Responsibilities

Complete classroom services are seeking an experienced and proactive School Site Manager to join a school we’re working with. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong maintenance skills and the ability to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our school premises.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation and upkeep of the school site and buildings.
  • Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and minor improvement works.
  • Ensure health & safety standards are met, including compliance with regulations.
  • Manage contractors and oversee any larger maintenance projects.
  • Open and close the school premises as required.
  • Monitor and manage site security, fire safety systems, and emergency procedures.
  • Conduct regular checks of the premises and grounds.
