A bit about the role… We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Connolly Ltd, overseeing internal refurbishment programmes within the Social Housing sector. This role will focus specifically on kitchen and bathroom replacement schemes, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while maintaining excellent tenant satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all day-to-day site operations across Greater Manchester, with a strong emphasis on tenant liaison, programme delivery, quality assurance, and health & safety compliance. We operate within the Social Housing sector, delivering high-quality refurbishment and planned works programmes for local authorities and housing associations across West Yorkshire, the Northwest, and North Wales. What you will be responsible for… Managing day-to-day operations on internal kitchen and bathroom refurbishment schemes Ensuring works comply with specifications, programmes, and client requirements Conducting daily site checks and maintaining full H&S compliance, including RAMS and site audits Planning and coordinating trades, materials, and deliveries to keep projects on schedule Preparing progress reports, updating programmes, and completing quality sign-off documentation Monitoring budgets in collaboration with the QS team and ensuring efficient resource use Carrying out site inductions and maintaining accurate site records Ensuring operatives have the correct materials, PPE, and equipment to work safely and effectively Maintaining a clean, safe, and tenant-friendly site at all times Overseeing workmanship quality from direct operatives and subcontractors Liaising with residents, client representatives, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and minimal disruption What we’d like from you… Proven experience managing kitchen and/or bathroom refurbishment schemes, ideally within Social Housing Strong understanding of tenant engagement and experience working in occupied properties Valid SMSTS qualification First Aid at Work certification Asbestos Awareness (desirable but not essential) Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme discipline A proactive, solution-focused approach with a commitment to quality and customer care Why join us?
