Description

Leading construction company based in Woodstock in need of a Site / Construction Manager with a minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience within this industry. The successful candidate must come from an environment which they are experienced and proficient in renovations, alterations and new builds (building works) from a commercial main contractor environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Oversee day-to-day on-site operations for renovations and installation projects
  • Coordinate delivery and installation of finishes, and fixtures
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and project timelines
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents
  • Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve on-site issues efficiently
  • Report daily to the Head of Projects with updates and queries
  • Flag potential delays or issues early and offer viable solutions
  • Occasional overtime may be required to ensure project deadlines are met

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

National Diploma (Construction / Building)
Minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience with construction / renovations industry
Computer Literate: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Well spoken in Afrikaans and English

SKILLS:

Strong leadership and team management skills
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Afrikaans & English)
A proactive problem solver with attention to detail
